2. Eligibility and Account

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or placing an order.

3. Product Information and Pricing

• We try to ensure product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate.
• Minor variations in color, dimensions, or packaging may occur.
• Prices are shown in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to correct genuine errors in listings, pricing, or stock availability.

4. Orders and Contract Formation

• Placing an order is an offer to purchase and is subject to our acceptance.
• An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not guarantee acceptance.
• The sales contract is formed when your order is accepted and processed for fulfillment.
• We may cancel or refuse orders for reasons including payment issues, fraud risk, or stock unavailability.

5. Payment

• Payment must be completed using available payment options shown at checkout.
• You confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
• Orders may be suspended or canceled if payment authorization fails.
• Payment only includes the cost of purchased items and standard delivery fees, unless stated otherwise. For certain locations, delivery charges may be paid upon collection instead.
• Payment does not cover any additional charges that may arise, including but not limited to import/export permits, duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, or similar charges imposed by authorities.
• In the event your order is held by customs or returned to us due to import/export issues, you are solely responsible for any costs required to release or re-deliver the items. We will not be accountable for such additional fees or for the clearance of goods from customs.

6A. Delivery and Risk

• Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by third-party logistics and location.
• Risk in products passes to you upon delivery, pickup, or confirmed receipt.
• Please inspect items upon receipt and report discrepancies promptly.
• Any discrepancy in your order, including item shortages, damages, or missing products, must be reported to us within 5 days of receiving your delivery. We may not be able to assist or resolve issues reported after this 5-day period.

6B. Self Pickup / Self Collect and Risk

• You may choose to collect your order in person (self pickup) at our designated collection point, subject to arrangements made during checkout or by contacting us directly.
• You will be notified by us via WhatsApp once your order is ready for pickup. In the event you do not receive a notification or cannot reach us through the provided channels, you can check the status of your order on our website.
• Proof of order may be required during collection.
• All items must be collected within 10 days after the order is ready for pickup, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Orders not collected within this period may be returned to stock, cancelled, or subject to storage fees.
• Risk in the products passes to you upon collection by you or your authorized representative. Please inspect your items immediately at the point of pickup and inform our staff of any issues or discrepancies before leaving the premises.
• We are not responsible for the condition or loss of products once they have been collected and removed from our premises.

7. Returns, Exchanges, and Consumer Rights

• Return and exchange handling follows our published policy and applicable Malaysian consumer laws.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes your non-excludable statutory rights.
• For defective or misdescribed goods, remedies will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

8. Warranty

• Specific products may include manufacturer or seller warranty terms.
• Warranty coverage, exclusions, and process are stated on product pages or supporting documents.
• Misuse, improper installation, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear are generally excluded.
• After a warranty claim is completed and you have been notified that your item is ready, please collect your item promptly. Items not collected within 30 days of notification may be disposed of at our discretion.

9. Prohibited Use

• You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with system operations.
• You must not use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activities.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, trademarks, logos, images, and materials are owned by or licensed to KM Lighting and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, KM Lighting is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the website or products.

This limitation does not exclude liability where exclusion is prohibited by law, including mandatory consumer protections under Malaysian law.
