Operating Instuctions:

(A) Testing Sockets and ring main circuits:

Plug the tester into a live 13A Flat-Pin socket.
The combination of 3 carefully selected neons will diagnosed whether or not the socket and circuit are correctly wired with the help if the table below:

• ••• = CORRECT
• ••○ = NO EARTH
• •○○ = LIVE / NEUTRAL REVERSE
• ○•• = NO NEUTRAL
• ○○• = LIVE / EARTH REVERSE
• ○○○ = NO LIVE240V AC
• • NEON ON
• ○ NEON OFF

(B) Testing ELCB (RCD):

Plug the tester into a live socket as step (A), press the specially designed "TEST (RED)" button and the ELCB (RCD) will trip.
If otherwise, checked ELCB (RCD) directly.
